— Frequently Asked Questions

What you should know.

What lengths of stay are possible?
The standard durations are 3, 6, 8, or 10 months (short-term quota-based employment under Section 15d of the Employment Ordinance, BeschV). For stays of more than 3 months from most non-EU countries, the employer must be bound by a collective wage agreement — this requirement currently does not apply to candidates from Ukraine. For apprenticeship arrangements, the minimum length of stay does not apply.
Do you also place candidates in apprenticeships?
Yes. For apprenticeship positions there is no minimum length of stay — we will review together with you whether the candidate's profile and the general conditions are a suitable match.
What applies to candidates from Ukraine?
Until the end of the war, Ukrainian nationals are not subject to restrictions on residence permits — short-term placements are also possible. We are familiar with the current special regulations and will advise you in concrete terms.
What do I need to do as an employer?
You are only required to obtain the work permit. We handle the entire visa application process, document verification, and organisational support on your behalf.
How long does the placement process take?
The visa application process typically takes one to three months. We recommend beginning the planning process early in order to find the right staff in good time.
What language levels do the candidates have?
Depending on your requirements, we can find candidates with varying language levels — ranging from English, Georgian, or Ukrainian through to German B2.
Can I meet the candidates in advance?
Yes, a personal introductory meeting via video conference or telephone is possible. We will provide you with candidate profiles in advance, including information on language skills, work experience and personal strengths.
